Blog your heart out

The lovely Lauren over at Life of Miley to complete the ‘Blog your heart’ Meme. This gives me a chance to tell you a bit more about me and blogging; all I have to do is answer 5 questions.

1. Who/what encouraged you to start blogging?

I very first set up a blog because I had been reading others and thought it would be a good place to write! I loved to write and thought I might talk about life; being married and having a young baby.  I didn’t really ‘find my feet though’ for quite a while and I think I have only felt like a blogger since meeting some lovely folk through blogging who are great for encouraging each other and me!

2. How did you choose what topics to blog about?

I started thinking I was going to be what I thought a mummy blogger was, I would write about my children and what we do. Over time I think I have fallen into a part mummy part life blogger, I do tend to talk about family life but also do posts about me and reviews.  I find photos give me a lot of inspiration too!

3. What is something most people don’t know about you?

I haven’t had a proper haircut for nigh on 4 years! I let the husbands cousin tidy he ends about a year ago, but was so nervous that I made her nervous and she ended up taking about .5 cm off the very ends and thats it. People know I have long hair, but I don’t think they know how long it has really been.

4. What three words describe your style?

Spontaneous, Erm…

Seriously though I will be honest I don’t often plan what I will write, I wait for inspiration or the ‘writing feeling’ and then go with the flow.

Think I will go with ‘Spontaneous, Fun and Honest’

5. What do you love to do when you are not blogging?

So much, spend time with hubby, Monkey and Mouse and the extended family. Eat, write, films, photography and generally just have fun!

Often this leads to content for the blog!

Interesting, as I don’t feel like a blogger yet? and as for the hair I hate hairdressers too and it didn’t help when I was one for a short time!!
