Book Review – Anagranimals

Reading is something we encourage daily, it is a way to relax, a way to learn, a way to share and (definitely) a way to calm down during the bedtime routine!

Books are special and both Monkey and Mouse treat them as such. They are happy when a book joins the shelf, something new to share!

We were sent a copy of ‘The Anagranimals and The Wishing Tree’ to take a look at. The picture on the front is so lovely even I couldn’t wait to take a look!

The Anagranimals start out life as…well….animals, but they all had dreams of being able to do what others can do! They come across a wishing tree who grants them a special wish – life in Pogo Bogo is never the same again!

The animals have loads of fun with their new found talents and the fun can be enjoyed by the readers too, it is written well and the illustration is amazing! There is quite a bit of writing, so sometimes we may have to read in more than one sitting with ours (3 and 5 years old), but that doesn’t ruin the story.

The really good bit of the book is how much it gives you to talk about outside of the main story too! The different parts of animals, the pictures, the animal kingdom as a whole – it can inspire so many questions!

So if you want to find out more about the PIG-ORILLA-ROO then grab yourself a bit of Anagranimal Fun!
