Book Review – Marshmallows for Martians

For tonight’s bedtime reading Daddy, Monkey and Mouse settled down with Marshmallows for Martians from Egmont.9781405266819

“Join George, a young and courageous explorer as he blasts into space, determined to find out what kind of sweets Martians like best. With his homemade rocket and map of the stars, George is sure the Martians will be easy to find. But when he touches down on the red planet, the Martians are nowhere to be seen. George is alone . . . or so he thinks. Could that really be a parade of alien musicians?”

We love book that reads nicely and rhymes as it goes, and this is one of them books. A lovely story for any space, alien and adventure fan!

Daddy says he loved it too, his exact words were ‘I loved it too and the illustrations are awesome.’20140824_191027

We have made a space on our bookshelf for this book, it is definitely a keeper, any book that can keep all three of them occupied is a good one!

It is funny, well written, great pictures and a fab story – what more could anyone want from a children’s book.

Disclaimer: We received a copy of the book to tell you what we thought, all posts are honest!
