Monkey loves to learn, he literally soaks in information, another love of his (as I am sure I have mentioned before) is dinosaurs! He was really excited last term at school as they did all about dinosaurs and he couldn’t wait to find out about the different types, who ate what and how to roar like one!
Do you know much about dinosaurs? Do you know if a Stegosaurus could move quickly or what a Velociraptor ate?
BrainBites Dinosaurs is here to help!
The game consists of 57 Quiz Cards, 6 Brain Cards, 6 Score Markers and 1 Rules Card. The aim is to fill your Brain [Card] with Brain cells, which you can gain by answering questions correctly!
There are three questions per card worth either 1,2 or 3 brain cells, if you get your question right you win the corresponding brain cells which you add to your card by moving the marker around. The winner is the one to fill their brain first!
The game states that it’s for Age 5+ and Monkey who is 5 loves it. Some questions are tough for him, but some he knows and some he works out and gets them right (he must have learnt a lot in school!); in fact I think he is better at it than Daddy and Me and wants to give the 3 brain cell questions a try!!
It is a game that the whole family can play – Mouse is a little young for it at 3 years old, but still wanted to play, so we played in teams of two and all had a lot of fun!
The tin is great for storing the game, it protects the cards and is small enough to just pop on a shelf! In fact it is also perfect for taking on your travels too!
We give the game a thumbs up and will be playing it many more times!
Disclaimer: I was sent the game for the purpose of this review, I remain honest at all times!

I can see Monkey loving this in a couple of years – looks good.
i love game in a tin. it can protect the cards well. This will appeal to those who love dino!
this sounds great! i like ones which are educational and fun at the same time
Looks great, not quite 6yo’s thing but a girly alternative and she would be well away
Looks great for any dinosaur fan and love the little tin to keep it in, great for travelling!
This looks fab for any dinosaur fan. Z was going on about some sort of dinosaur called an iguanada something or other and I had no idea what he was taking about until I just saw the card in the game there. Is it an iguanadasaur??
That looks really great. We’ve had a few card games over the years and the cardboard box always lets them down and they get lost or ruined.
I love the tin, and I love the subject matter. Dinosaurs are great for getting reluctant 5 year olds desperate to read – my children would love this game, I’ll have to look it out and get a copy I think 🙂
This sounds great, Little Mr A loves dinosaurs I think he would love it!
this looks a great quality game one which is sure to last and last 🙂
I love games that come in a tin! This looks like the sort of thing my boy would love!
