Cable and Cotton Review

Cotton1

We are really trying to turn our house into a home,  without doing too much actual decorating in the form of paint etc.  We are hoping to move soonish and don’t want to do too much that we will have to readjust before we move, and on a selfish part we would like to take our home comforts with us so, we are really on the look out for things that can create a home, that look fab and that we will be able to take with us to make the next place great too!

Cable and Cotton produce lights; their name basically tells you what kind. The Cable is a transparent string that holds 20, 35 or 50 bulbs and the bulb coverings are made of Cotton!

There are a wide variety of colours for the lights and you can choose from the pre-selected combinations or can create your own look with the ‘pick your own’ option.  We chose a pre-selection – the Mexican – we picked it because it has the favourite colours of all four of us mixed together (blue, green, yellow and purple – and a few extra).

When it arrived it was well packaged in a box, the cable and light covers come separately so you can put them on in the order you want!

To put them on you pop the light into the hole and then twist and push! The balls are made of cotton so can bend, but they do pop back into shape again!

It only took us a few minutes to put them together and we were very pleased with the result.

We love the colours and they really come alive once they are plugged in and switched on.

We have hung them near some of the kids pictures in the toy area, they have really added a bit of sparkle and a lot of loveliness.

They give off a brilliant warm feeling and really helps to make our house feel like home and the best bit is, if we get our new pad the lights can travel with us and do the same there too!

We love the lights and Mummy has an eye on one or two more sets for the rest of the house!

Disclaimer: We were sent the lights for the purpose of this post, all views are honest.
