Monkey and Mouse are really into role playing, currently their favourite game is one of them being a parent and one being the baby. It is great to see them playing together.
They are slowly introducing props into their game, mainly Dolls as they fit in the accessories so much easier than the children themselves.
Rosie (the chosen doll this week) is very lucky to have got a new bed this week. The Hape ‘Rock-a-bye’ Cradle is a beautiful looking wooden rocking cradle. It comes in 5 bits to be built; the screws and an allan key is included.
It is easy to assemble, so easy I could do it (normally these things are passed to Daddy). The cradle also comes with a really cute blanket and pillow. It is the right size for most dolls we have (not the toddler sized doll, but all the typical sized dolls ones were perfect).
It is very well made from a smooth wood, it is a fab miniature of a real life cot – it even rocks, so you can gently rock the doll to sleep!
Mouse has actually fallen in love with the cradle I think, she wants it to live next to her bed so her doll can sleep, and both her and Monkey have really enjoyed playing with it!
It has added to our Role Play props and has bought a lot of play value into our house. The recommended retail price is £45, a pretty average price for this kind of item and totally worth it!

Apparently the giraffe is Dolly’s favourite Teddy Bear!
