John Lewis Decorating – Review

We have been wanting to make the kids bedrooms nice and…well…more kids rooms than just rooms for ages. But we hadn’t done it because we hadn’t found the right things to use!

PaintimagesThen we were sent some John Lewis items that were really going to make the jobs easy! It is really fantastic looking stuff!

We were sent some Nature Paint and it is the colour ‘thrift’ (a pinky colour) that will be great for the Mouse – she loves any type of  pink!

it is a non-toxic paint free from potentially hazardous carbon-based chemicals which means it is perfect for a child’s room (it is even Certified as safe for pregnant mothers by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists!).  This is great as I am a bit of a worrier when it comes to the children’s health!

You mix the paint with water and it dries within 45 Mins, it is safe enough for the children to sleep in there the same night too! What I also like is that the tin doesn’t seem excessive, it is a a perfect size for what it holds and it adds to the natural theme!

To go with this we were sent some lovely wooden door handle and a great set of rollers and brushes to paint with – the Prodec DIY Painting Set.

The door handles are simple wood, but are beautifully finished!

The paint set literally has everything that you need to decorate a room, a dust sheet, two different sixed rollers, acrylic roller sleeve with plastic core, high density foam roller sleeve with plastic core, polyester roller sleeve, two plastic roller trays and  3 pure bristle brushes with synthetic filaments.

It is awesome! Different sized equipment is always a bonus when trying ot reach corners and creases!

This set is really well made and for the price is an absolutely bargain!

Stickersimages

To finish off the decorating we have some great wall stickers, they are actually so good I want them for somewhere in the house that more people will see them – the living room maybe!?

The stickers are fantastic and really are something that kids fall in love with! John Lewis have a great range with something to sort everyone!

I am a little bit in love with the John Lewis range of decorating items. I would happily use the paint for the whole house – there is a fab range of colours and i would know the children were safe in every room!!

Once the room is complete we will share pictures, but for now please head over to the John Lewis website, and when you are re-decorating a child’s space, you will know where to shop!
