Littlest Pet Shop – Lights, Camera, Mongoose! Review and Competition

We have already shared that we have a couple of Littlest Pet Shop fans in the house so we were very happy to take a dip into the world of Blythe Baxter and her talented animals once more and check out the Littlest Pet Shop: Lights, Camera, Mongoose! (Released on DVD and Digital Download on 19th October.)image001

Blythe Baxter is accustomed to looking after her animal friends and day-to-day duties in the pet shop, but things are about to change as a sudden excitement sweeps over the community…A famous face is coming to town! Mega-star mongoose Shahrukh is in New York shooting his latest film and Blythe and the pets get the chance to visit him on set. The gang have stars in their eyes until Blythe’s very own pet mongoose, Sunil, is mistaken for his celebrity peer and things take a wild turn.

Our favourite little blue mongoose may have magical talents, but he cannot use his wizardry to get out of this sticky situation. Whilst Sunil is living the high life after this impromptu switcheroo, back at the shop the pets soon discover that their new celebrity guest might not be everything they had thought…

The DVD includes 6 episodes and once again is full of fun! It comes with a bonus free toy (can’t take a photo of it because it has disappeared upstairs) but we got the bunny and it is the perfect little friend to watch the DVD with!

It surprises me but Monkey loves it just a s much as Mouse, in fact he tells me it is “pretty Sic – which means really really good mummy!”. Not sure where he has picked that turn of phrase from but he is sure this DVD is good enough to be referenced as Sic! Mouse sticks to a more traditional word of ‘Brilliant’!

They both would watch the DVD over and over again! In fact I feel it may be on the list today for our film day! I best get the popcorn out!

Quite a few. I had dinner with David Carradine (Bill from Kill Bill), I’ve met most of the cast of Buffy. I had dinner with Kristine Sutherland who played Buffy’s Mum and have met others from the show. I’ve met a few others from Star Trek and other tv shows, I’ve met Anna Pacquin and also (if you can count her films) have met Britney Spears lol x
