A Wrap about Dinner – Sharwoods Review

I am always looking for a quick and easy dinner! Anything that makes creating a tasty dinner easier, is a ‘cupboard must’ in my book!

So, did the Sharwoods Wrap Kits pass the test?

We had three to try, Chinese Hoi Sin, Indian Masala and Chinese Sweet Chilli! We waited until I had worked a long nine hour day at work, so I needed something easy and quick to make when I got home! Last Tuesday we selected the Hoi Sin and got on it!

The boxes contain the wraps, seasoning and a topping sauce. All you have to provide is the meat and vegetables!

We got out some chicken, peppers and onions and fried them, then added the seasoning. The wraps are microwave for a minute and hey presto – it’s done!

Now onto the best bit; take one wrap, place a line of filling (I choose just veggies being a vegetarian, but Hubby had the meat too!), place some sauce on top (I like a wiggly line), fold into a neat parcel type sandwich and eat!

The next thing I heard from the hubby was “DE-licious!” and they were, I normally wouldn’t go for a Hoi Sin (too sweet for me) but I did enjoy them, Hubby wanted more he liked them so much!

The added bonus is that it really is a quick meal, a bit of chopping, frying and wrapping and it is ready to go! It is a definite meal option for when time is limited, or it needs to be easy or, well for anytime really!

Tonight we had the Masala kit, which again was very tasty. Both Mouse and Legs (2 and 4 years old) were able to help themselves to wrap and filling, and then wrap them up to eat – so easy toddlers can do it (apart from maybe the actual cooking bit!).

I can’t wait to have the sweet chilli one….hmmm what’s for tea tomorrow??

I was supplied with the Kits to do the review, all opinions are honest!
