Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles – Review

There comes a time in every boys life that he becomes obsessed with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles; apparently that age is around their 6th Birthday!

Monkey loves the Turtles, if you were to ask him why he would probably just say because they are awesome!

The new DVD (released on 31st March) – Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Season 2 volume 1. Mutagen Mayem is crammed full of crime-fighting action, funnies and general Turtle stuff! The DVD features 5 episodes from the second season of Nickleodeon’s animated series.Screen Shot 2014-04-01 at 21.11.21

There are also special features on the DVD including special features ‘Ninjas in New York’ and a Channel 6 Special Report entitled ‘Creatures of the Night’.

We settled down to give the DVD a whirl, and for the next 100 or so minutes I lost Monkey into a world of green action, saving the day and lots of fun! The thing that makes the TMNT (as I believe they are known) even better is that in some ways they are very retro and actually me and Daddy lived throughout the first coming of the turtles, so we are able to talk about it with Monkey!

Mouse is a little on the young and a little on the Girly side for the Turtles, although she did sit and watch some of it!

We were sent a copy for the purpose of this review, however we have remained honest and the turtles genuinely have fans in the house. We are on the lookout for Volume 2!
