The Gob Stopper – Review!

Now I know you may have seen too much food, sweet stuff and calories over the Christmas period, but I must tell you about this!

The Gob Stopper is an online retro sweet shop with a massive variety of all your favourites to pick from! They stock gifts, retro jars and a Click N Mix. I was so lucky to receive  a jar of the ‘Click N Mix’ to have a try of.  There are three sizes of jar to pick from and then you simply click your selection of sweets; we went for Coconut Mushrooms (Daddy’s favourite), Milk Bottles (for Monkey and Mouse) and Liquorice Torpedoes (for Me!). 

When they arrived I was more than pleased, not only did the colours of the sweets make them really tempting, but I love the Kilner jar they came in! The jar and the way the sweets were put in gave it such a lovely look and the tag showed the name that sticks in your head.

As we opened the jar, the smell of sweets was divine – the milk bottles in particular smelt like they should. In fact I have heard an adults and two children all say that the milk bottles were the best ever! 

I have been browsing the site to see what I would get for the hubby, my mum, my friend  and most importantly me! There is loads of choice and loads of yumminess! The Liquorice Torpedoes are amazing and I am often found popping the lid to just have a taster (or three). I have to be honest, if I was to buy from the Gob Stopper, I would look at buying a bigger jar!

So, what do I like about the Click N Mix, I like the options, I like that you can mix to fit in more than one persons favourite, I love the presentation and the fact that the jar is reusable!

I love sweets and I love the sharing quality!
