The Toadstool

I am heading down to London this weekend for a blogging conference.  There are about 500 bloggers going to meet each other, get new tips and generally have a lot of fun!

I first came across The Toadstool during a twitter party called #playfest run by Izziwizzikids.co.uk , it quickly became apparent that I would be browsing their website a LOT.

The Toadstool is run by Mum Nikki, who set up the shop after having difficulties searching for quality pre-school toys that are different and a little bit special.

“When my daughter was born a few years ago, I found it was almost impossible to find toys in the UK that were beautifully designed, durable and ecologically friendly but also educational and fun.”

That’s lucky for us I think, as The Toadstool stocks toys that are just that. I was so lucky to win a ‘Sorgenfresser Worry Eater’ called Polli. She is gorgeous, soft, pretty and helpful! She eats all of a child’s worries!  Literally anything can be devoured!  A child can write down or draw on a piece of paper and then they can pop in the mouth and zip it up. In fact they could even speak it into their hand and pop it in!

If left over night, Polli (and her friends) will eat up the worry, and in the morning (with a little help from you) the worry will be gone!

Mouse loves pink so Polli is the perfect friend for her, but there are many worry eaters to choose from and I am sure that there is one for every child!

I was also lucky enough to be picked as a Toad Tester for them earlier this year and have had the opportunity to do some very nice reviews for them so far.

Please do head over to The Toadstool and have a browse around, they have some amazing toys including those from Haba, Plus Plus, Janod, Wonderworld and more!

I am so happy to see that our working relationship is growing because I believe in the toys that The Toadstool stock and the reasons why!

Thank you ‘The Toadstool’ for Part Sponsoring me for Britmums Live and helping me get there by train!
