Tractor Ted is a cartoon green tractor who stars in books and DVDs about farming and the countryside; he appears in real life footage and children can learn so much from it.
Ted was created by two friends; Alexandra Heard (a mum to three) and David Horler (Farmer), whose children (like many others) have loved to watch the real machines at work on the farm!
Ted is now 11 years old and there are 17 DVDs and 11 books (including activity books), all of which help take children on an adventure of countryside, fresh air and fun! Once your children are a fan there are also loads other goodies to get your hands on, such as clothing, toys and even bedding!
The Monkey and the Mouse are new fans, we hadn’t heard of it until recently, but now are the proud owners of two DVDs, an activity book and a colouring book. I will be honest, when the kids saw the DVD case they ween’t that sure, but I asked them to watch it and now they are hooked.
They both loved how they could see ‘real life’ as well as a great cartoon character. They had lots of fun watching and then couldn’t wait to get on with colouring and ‘doing’ the books. Even today the books came with us in the car for them to look at.
The colouring book is great for the younger children, it has great pictures for them to try their hands at creativity, Mouse has enjoyed it. Monkey has really enjoyed the activity book, it has variety of activities including ‘odd one outs’, spot the differences, writing and colouring – he is literally in his element. I love how there are recipes in the back of it too – something for us all to do together.
