‘YOU, ME AND A CUP OF TEA’

‘YOU, ME AND A CUP OF TEA’

Introducing a unique collection of special moments shared over a cup of Tetley, in partnership with children and young people’s cancer charity CLIC Sargent

Whether it’s a comforting chat, a welcome distraction from work or the only time in the day you get to just betogether, a good cup of Tetley Tea has been bringing people closer for 175 years.

To commemorate the birthday, and in partnership with the UK’s leading  children and young people’s cancer charity, CLIC Sargent, Tetley are creating the UK’s first ‘Tea Table Book’ entitled ‘You, Me and a Cup of Tea’ – a celebration of the moments we spend together over the nation’s favourite drink.

This limited edition book is a unique collection of 175 stories from celebrities, journalists, Tetley Tea fanatics, employees and of course, tea drinkers from across the UK, all sharing their heart-warming tales about a special cup of tea they enjoyed with a loved one.

Children and young people and their families affected by cancer, who have been supported by CLIC Sargent, will also be sharing their stories in the book.

So what could your story be? Well, it could be about the cuppa you had with your mum when you told her she was going to be a granny, or when you asked your best friend to be your best man or simply that much-needed cup of tea your husband brought you, without even needing to be asked!

For the chance to see your story published and attend the star-studded book launch, just send us your story (max. 250 words), along with a photo of you and the person you’re talking about by Friday 17th August.  Either email your story to myteastory@TetleyTea.co.uk or post it to My Tea Story, PO Box 68930, LONDON, E1W 9HP. The successful entries will be notified by Friday 24th August 2012.
