Alphabet Photo – Z

We have got to the end of the alphabet linky, so this week’s is Z.  I was chatting to Monkey this morning and asked him what words began with Z, his response was Zizzer-Zazzer-Zuzz; so here it is, Z is for Zizzer-Zazzer-Zuzz!

We discovered the Zizzer-Zazzer-Zuzz in the Dr Suess ABC book. All four of us are massive Dr Suess fans; Monkey’s first favourite book was Cat in the Hat, he loved the rhyming of the book, as he discovered more of Dr Suess, the unusual words used fascinated him.  It used to make him giggle when grown ups couldn’t read the words easily as he seemed to be able to wrap his mouth around them as if they tasted delicious!20150708_150515

The love of Dr Suess was instilled in Mouse since birth; as she breastfed I would read the books to Monkey, so she would enjoy them too. We have half the books in each of their bedrooms so they can both have some to pick from, they get swapped around a lot though. Here is our small collection, there are more for us to buy and they will be on the Christmas list I am sure! 20150708_093056Looking forward to joining in again with Alphabet Photo in September! photo 4d06e438-4e6a-4f3b-88b2-0c1093350397_zps361ad0e9.jpg

Considering we are a house of bookworms I’ve never actually read one of these books – sounds like we need to rectify that!! #alphabetphoto

We love Dr Seuss and they have always been a bedtime favourite with our lot. Although sometimes I might have liked something shorter and less liable to trip me up 🙂 #alphabetphoto
