My Songs – Spotify App

Spotify is a music streaming service, simply type in the artist or album you want to listen to and it is there. The best thing about it is you can literally pick music to match your mood and you can listen to things that aren’t even in your CD/Download collection. We use Spotify a lot, Monkey and Mouse are always shouting out what they want to listen to next and they love being able to pick.

The app is really appealing to the younger ones as it is so bright and easy to use. Both Monkey and Mouse couldn’t wait to get their hands on it! There are many playlists programmed into it and you can find something whatever genre you are looking for – whether it be lullabies or some party music.Screen Shot 2014-09-19 at 17.18.56

On first giving it a go we decided that we were going straight in for the party. Two clicks and we were there, the kids were dancing all over the living room!

It is an amazing app and with it you can share, save, customise and play all songs through the app while keeping your audience entertained with the easy to use and kid friendly designed application.

The biggest issue with the app is that Mouse wanted to play one particular One Direction song over and over again, Monkey didn’t agree! So I think we are going to have to start building personalised playlists for each of them (and a mummy friendly one too).

USM Junior also has a YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/user/MyUSMJr which has over 2000 subscribers – are you one of them?

The My songs app is a stroke of genius, it is perfect for the children and both mine (4 and 6 years old) can work it. It is a free app too so why don’t you download it today!20140919_173223
