Parragon Book Review

Now it is November, I know everyone is looking for ideas for Christmas! So I thought I would share these two books. Both are from Parragon and both are definitely worth considering!

Wakey Wakey Big Brown Bear

“Big Brown Bear doesn’t want to go to bed – he’ll miss Autumn, with its crunchy leaves, and Winter, with its sparkly snow. His friends promise to wake him up, but nothing works! So they come up with a plan… An enchanting seasonal tale of friendship and fun!”

This is a book of friendship and love, it is really lovely to read and has a brilliant two to it. It has a story that you want to dive into, and when I say you, I of course mean me! The illustrations bring it alive and I feel like Bear and his buddies are my actual friends and the friends of my children!

“Kitty is the café lady, and everything is in order. But then Lea arrives and suddenly everything changes – she spontaneously introduces new café guests and music! Sulking, Kitty hides in her tent – but things are awfully quiet without Lea.”

This is a lovely little story about learning to share. It is girly, but mainly because both of the main characters are girls! The pictures, again, are brilliant, really capturing the story! The story is easy to read, and has the capacity to capture the attention of little ones!

I have to say Parragon keep my children, me and Daddy interested. They have a whole range of books and so far we have only found fantastic ones! Their books are those kind of books that sit on your shelves and get read, over and over again!

These are fantastic books for any day, but if you are particularly looking towards the festive season, I would recommend these and checking out other Parragon Books!

Disclaimer: We were sent these books for the purpose of the review, our opinions are honest at all times.

We had both of these books too and we really enjoyed them! Big Brown Bear reminded me of the new John Lewis advert!

We had these too. N didn’t like Mine at all – but then he’s not really into ‘girls’. He loved the bear one, but then he’s a big fan of Peter Rabbit and this follows a theme!

These sound like such lovely books.
