The Incredible Adventures of Professor Branestawm – Review/Competition

There is a lot of fun coming to DVD and Digital download on the 30th November in the form of The Incredible Adventures of Professor Branestawmimage007

This star-studded adaptation of the classic children’s book series stars Harry Hill, Ben Miller, David Mitchell and Miranda Richardson and is a perfect film to watch as a family as it is aimed at the young and old (er)!!

Professor Branestawm (played by Harry Hill) is the original mad professor, an absent-minded inventor who is oblivious to the chaos his hare-brained creations cause when they go wrong, which they always do. If it weren’t for the efforts of his long suffering housekeeper, Mrs Flittersnoop and his dim but loyal best friend, Colonel Dedshott, the professor would long ago have blown himself to smithereens.

In this adventure, the professor’s friends and his young apprentice Connie, join forces when evil businessman Mr Bullimore and officious local councillor Harold Haggerstone plan to have Branestawn branded a danger to the community so that they can bulldoze his workshop and make way for a giant munitions factory in the middle of town.

This is a really funny film that the children were happy with, they were definitely giggling away at the various antics of the professor. I love films like this that are easy to watch and really lighthearted. Definitely one to watch in the run up to Christmas –

The actors in it are perfect for their roles and it is great to see so many familiar faces. Here is a fab clip for you to whet your appetite!

I am lucky enough to be able to offer you the chance to win the DVD (there will be one winner), all you have to do is follow the gleam widget entering as many ways as you would like
